This page explains what Build Your Keynote collects, why, and who else sees it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@buildyourkeynote.com and a person will answer.

What you give us

Your name and email address when you create an account. Your answers to the questions in the process, and the cards and deliverables built from them. Your payment is handled by Stripe, so your card number never reaches us. We see that you paid, how much, and when.

Why we use it

To run the process: save your answers as you go, bring you back to where you stopped, and build your core insights, program description and keynote outline from your own words. To send the emails you signed up for, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. To understand which parts of the process help people and which ones lose them.

Who else sees it

Google Cloud stores your account and your answers. Stripe processes payments. Anthropic runs the AI model that coaches you and writes your deliverables; your answers are sent to it only to produce your results, and are not used to train its models. Resend delivers our emails. Vercel hosts the website and counts visits without cookies.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives a small signal when you visit the site, create a free account, or buy. See the next section.

We do not sell your information, and we never share your answers with anyone.

The Meta pixel

We use Meta's pixel to see which of our Facebook and Instagram posts and ads bring people here, so we can spend less on the ones that do not. When you visit a page, create a free account, or buy, your browser tells Meta that it happened, and for a purchase, the amount. Your answers are never sent.

Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account. You can control how Meta uses it in the Ad preferences section of your Facebook or Instagram settings, and most ad blockers stop the pixel from loading at all.

Cookies

A sign in cookie keeps you logged in. A few short lived cookies carry you through checkout so your purchase lands on your account. If you arrive through a partner's link, a cookie remembers that partner for 30 days so they are credited. Meta's pixel sets its own cookie to recognise a return visit.

How long we keep it

Your answers stay for as long as you have an account, so your work is there when you come back. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and your answers. Email hello@buildyourkeynote.com from the address on your account and we will do it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top, and email you first if the change is significant.
